More and more aspects of our lives are powered by algorithms
From the voice assistant in your phone to the “what to watch next” suggestions on your television screen, more and more aspects of our lives are powered by algorithms. And although algorithms rule the world, we seem to know very little about them. How do they work? And by whom were they created?
The Algorithm Hall of Fame will feature a selected list of breakthrough algorithms that have shaped our world.
We are accepting nominations from May until December. An expert Jury will then announce which algorithms will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
You can nominate algorithms here. We will put them on our shortlist, so that the jury can review them.
The Algorithm Hall of Fame was announced at the O’Reilly AI Conference in New York on Tuesday 1st of May in 2018. Voting will close at the Smart Humanity Event in Amsterdam.
